This blog is dedicated to my wonderful husband who turned 47 today! To celebrate his special day, Russ, myself, Isaac, and Cade hiked to the top of Table Rock. It is just over a 7 mile hike. Isaac and Cade hiked the whole way themselves. I think I was more impressed that Russ and I made it the whole way. I haven't hiked Table Rock in 8 years and Russ hasn't in 15 years. But we all had a wonderful time even though we are totally exhausted now. After we got home, the boys got in the half full pool and were swimming around with their teeth chattering. That was their reward for hiking the whole way themselves with no complaining. We went to Brasstown BBQ for supper. It was delicious! And if all that was not enough, we came home for strawberry cheesecake and the opening of presents. The cheesecake was compliments of Michelle and Kyle. They spent the afternoon in the kitchen. It was quite the adventure, so I am told:) Now everyone is laying around trying to unwind after an awesome day!
