Another Great Week!

This has been another great week. Very busy but good. The boys have been playing nonstop. The weather has been good enough to get outside even though it was cold the beginning of the week. We went letterboxing on Tuesday with some friends. Everyone had a great time until the end when Isaac fell while riding his heeley's down a hill and hit a stick. He is fine but he missed basketball that night. Thursday it was in the 60's and today, Friday, they are calling for snow and sleet. We will see. I never believe it until it starts to fall.

Wednesday we surprised Aunt Evelyn with lunch at Zion restaurant for her birthday. It was just lady's and the two boys. We had a great time and she was very surprised. Today we are bringing her a birthday cake and present after supper. The boys can't wait to eat the cake. They have been smelling it all day.

Well, thats all for now! Will let you know if it snowed tomorrow.

Great Week!

This has been a great week. It is January and the beginning of this week it was in the upper 50's and lower 60's. We just had to get outside. Monday the boys played with their big brother Brandon and their friend Brady. Tuesday we met two other families at Keowee-Toxaway and learned about the Cherokee then went to Devil's Fork. We had a picnic and the kids played on the rocks and on the playground. It was the perfect day to play outside. Wednesday the boys had dentist appointments then they played at a friends house the rest of the day until church. Then Thursday it started raining again. We just stayed home. I guess we needed a home day after all the excitement this week.

Saturday Cade had a basketball game. I highly recommend to everyone to go to a 6 and under basketball or t-ball game at least once in your life. You won't regret it. It is highly entertaining!
After basketball we went to Greenville to Gattitown. Another great place to visit if you have never been there. We met our friends Miguel and Jennifer and their daughter from the Revolution Tour (you can check them out from their link to the left). We had a great time playing and talking about the upcoming conferences in Kentucky and Nashville.

And last but not least, the Daniel Fast is over. Not that I minded doing it and I had great reason to do it. It just got hard towards the end. Now to continue the healthy eating!

Overall, it has been a great week!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2010 everyone! 2009 was a year of decision making for Russ and I. 2010 is going to be a year of change for us. We have made some big decisions last year such as the decision to sell our house and travel full time with the ministry. Russ will be singing and we will be promoting the Voice of Thunder and doing acts of random kindness. We can't wait to get started! I am praying the house sells this month but that will have to be a God thing.

The next thing we are changing is our diet along with the rest of the country. Russ is going on the Releana diet and Michelle and I are going on the Daniel Fast for the next 21 days sarting Sunday. They put a challenge out to our church to do this for a chance to pray for big things. Since Russ and I have been praying for big things for a while we thought that this was the answer we were looking for. Some things take more than a little prayer. Some things take fasting and prayer. So that is what we will be doing for the next 21 days. Russ even longer on his diet. I will keep you updated on changes and answers to prayer over the next few weeks. We can not wait to see what God will do next! We know it is going to be big!

Happy New Year! Hope your new year is full of wonderful changes!
