West Virginia and Ohio

This was our first trip to West Virginia and we hope it will not be our last. We went to Lewisburg, WV and it is absolutely beautiful! The trees are peak color. There are mountains, rolling hills, farms with old barns, caverns, unique rock formations, very old buildings, and lots of history. So far we have visited Lost World Caverns, Civil War battlefields and graveyards, Beartown State Park, and Carnegie Hall. Unfortunately, my camera has been giving me trouble so I only have a few pictures. Ohio was just as beautiful with rolling hills, farms with beautiful barns, and gorgeous fall colors. The Point to Hope conference in McConnellsville, OH was awesome as well.

Busy Week

Our recent activites include, but are not limited to, playing with Piper, training Piper, and cleaning up after Piper! But overall, I think everyone in the house is enjoying Piper. We have spent lots of time with friends this week. We went to South Cove with Kristie and her boys. We always have a great time with them. Thursday we went with our friends, the Steele's, to an awesome park in Cashiers. Lindsey and I had a great time. I think the kids did too! It was a perfect day in the park. We also got to celebrate Feast of Tabernacles with the Steeles and some of their friends. All of this fun mixed in with getting ready for our trip to Ohio. Adventure is out there!

Chau Ram

Today was the kind of day that we needed to get outside. We haven't been to Chau Ram lately so we thought we would introduce Piper to one of our favorite places to get into nature. It is close and convenient also! The boys, myself, and Piper had a great time.

Introducing Piper

I would like to introduce you to Piper. Our new baby. She keeps me up at night and everything! She is a 7 week old full blooded beagle. It is about time Isaac and Cade had a dog of their own to love and train. I think she will be a great companion and addition to our family.
