Chau Ram

Yesterday we went tubing at Chau Ram with our friends, Kristie, Jacob, and Joey. The weather was perfect. The water was a little low and warm. It is unusual for the river to be warm but it was perfect for the day! Everyone had a great time.
Isaac wanted to make a panflute so we looked them up online and made one out of bamboo. It actually works! Also, do you see the mushroom cloud? It was very strange! I had to take a picture of it.

Selling our camper

We are selling our 2003 Keystone Cabana Camper for $5500. We have it listed on Craigslist. I wanted to post a few more pictures than what Craigslist allows so I am posting them here.

Camping!

This past weekend we went camping on Lake Hartwell. The water was way low! So glad I do not live on that lake. But we had a great time anyway. The weather could not have been better. The boys enjoyed riding their bikes and "playing" with the fire. There was biking, smores, and snakes, walking in the dark with flashlights, horseshoes, and friends, walkie talkies, fishing, and fireflies! I think the weekend was a hit!

Great Weekend!

This has been a great weekend. Friday was a day to get things accomplished around the yard. That always makes you feel good. Saturday was a day spent with our friends, Joshua and Lindsey along with their children, which is always a good time! We went to the Chatooga River and hung out on a rock and a sand barge. The boys had fun swimming. I was content on the rock or the sand. Even though you had to walk waist deep through the river to get to both. After that adventure we went to see Stone Echo at an outside concert in West Union. Brandon had a blast at the concert. Stone Echo is his favorite band. And today we are in Greenwood for my dads 49th birthday party. I got to the party late but still got to spend the afternoon and evening with my family. It makes me want next weekend to arrive. We have a camping trip planned. Adventure is out there!

Our Isaac is 10 today! Why is it always hard to believe how old our children are? It seems like I say this all the time but, time flies! First, I want to tell you a little about Isaac. He is a compassionate, loving, likable, thinker with a great sense of humor. It is an absolute joy having Isaac in our family. Isaac enjoys baseball, playing the wii, legos, making movies, playing his DSI, and playing with friends. He had a great birthday party with 14 guests! It was a superhero vs. villian costume party. We asked everyone to make their own costume. We saw some very intersting kids! After the contest, they played capture the flag. Then it was cupcake and icecream time. On to presents, then whacking the pinata, and finally swimming! It makes me tired just typing it all out. I think everyone had a great time. Now we are off to chick-fil-a for supper (Isaac's choice).
