Camping at Oconee Point

There is nothing like waking up to cranes and geese right in front of you in the lake! We had a great time camping this weekend at Oconee Point with our friends, the McGovern's. The boys rode their bikes, went fishing, tubing, and swinging off a rope swing into the water. Russ even took the plunge off the rope swing. Michelle, Kyle, and Brandon joined us on Saturday for steaks and fettuccine. We even had time to sit and read. Life is good.

Soccer!

Today was an excellent day at the soccer field! The weather was beautiful and both boys played awesome games. Isaac and Cade have improved greatly since the beginning of the season. It is always a joy to see their progress. Cade scored the first goal in his game and didn't let the other team score while he was goalie. Isaac scored once during the game and once during a foul shot. Yes, today was a great day indeed.

April Happenings!

So, what have we been up too? Well, there has been learning how to play chess, making a chess board on a table and pieces out of legos, going to our favorite spot (Chau Ram), playing with friends, bible studies, legos, mancala, games, reading things like Robin Hood and The Hobbit, jumping and soccer. I am sure that I am leaving out many things but that is good for now. Yes, life is good! Adventure is out there!

King Creek Falls

I am soooo glad that spring is finally here! Saturday we went to King Creek Falls with Michelle, Kyle, and some friends. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful hike. Last night the boys spent the night with friends for the first time. They did remarkably well and didn't even call one time. They are truly growing up:(
