Stress Reliever

We had a great day in the woods last friday. The weather was perfect and it was just what the doctor ordered to relieve some stress! I need to get back in the woods!

Great October!

October has been a whirlwind of activity. From deciding on costumes for halloween, to shopping for the wedding, to going stargazing at an unbelievable location, to going to Ohio with Point to Hope Ministries. We had a great time in Ohio. The ministry was incredible, the boys and I went to the Columbus Zoo, and the drive home was beautiful. The boys had a lot of fun on halloween. We went trick or treating with friends and then went to the church for games and a hayride.

God is up to something and all we can do is sit back and wait to see what unfolds. We are on full attention to whatever doors He opens and willing to except any doors He closes. He has told us to unload anything that is not of Him and stop any activity that is holding us back from doing what He is about to do. Even if it is good but not what He wants for us right now. Whoever said being a follower of the Most High is boring is not truly following Yahweh! Life is truly an adventure!

Michelle is 21!

21 years ago today God blessed us with a beautiful daughter. He gave me just what I needed but not what I asked for. I never wanted to have a girl but fortunately, God knows best. Michelle has been a blessing from the beginning. I have enjoyed all aspects of raising a daughter except the year she was 16. We won't talk about that. That was a year of learning for all of us. Anyway, the way I usually describe Michelle is that she came into this world knowing exactly what she wanted and knowing exactly how to get it. She is strong willed, smart, beautiful, and strong in her convictions. Michelle doesn't give up or compromise in her faith. I am proud of the young woman she has become.
